Chicago State's Jeremy Robinson has been chosen as the StatSheet Great West Player of the Week for the week ending January 16th. StatSheet's Great West Freshman of the Week goes to New Jersey Tech's Garrett Frick. And last but not least, New Jersey Tech's Arjun Ohri has received StatSheet's Great West 6th Man of the Week.

Robinson was tops in the Great West in blocked shots (4.0 per game). He also had great stats in shooting (50%), assists (4 per game), and rebounding (8 per game). The Chicago State junior played a big role in a victory against St. Francis (IL) and an unfortunate loss to San Diego State.

Robinson contributed 14 points and 4 blocked shots in 37 minutes in a 73-65 loss to San Diego State. He then led all scoring and rebounding with a 29 point and 9 rebound performance in a huge 91-63 victory against St. Francis (IL).

This is the first StatSheet Great West Player of the Week award for Jeremy Robinson. The runner-up this week is Isaiah Wilkerson, a senior from New Jersey Tech. Honorable mention goes to senior Keith Thompson from Utah Valley University. The highest ranking player from North Dakota was Brandon Brekke who finished 19th.

StatSheet Great West Freshman of the Week: New Jersey Tech's Garrett Frick

Garrett Frick averaged 14 minutes while starting both games for New Jersey Tech. His average in rebounding (3.5 per game) topped all Great West freshmen. In a 71-70 loss to Cal State Bakersfield, Frick contributed 3 points and 2 rebounds. Then in a massive 95-57 win against SUNY-Cobleskill, he dialed up 5 points and 5 rebounds.

This is the first StatSheet Great West Freshman of the Week award for Garrett Frick. Marcel Smith from Houston Baptist grabs runner-up. Our own Lenny Antwi takes honorable mention.

StatSheet Great West 6th Man of the Week: New Jersey Tech's Arjun Ohri

Senior Arjun Ohri, a 6-4 reserve guard, averaged 18 minutes over the two games for the Highlanders. In the loss to Cal State Bakersfield, Ohri put up 3 points and 2 assists. After that, in the win against SUNY-Cobleskill, he racked up 8 points and 4 assists.

This is the first time this season that Arjun Ohri has won the StatSheet Great West 6th Man of the Week. Alfonzo Hubbard, a junior forward from Utah Valley University, is runner up. Josh Cleveland, a sophomore forward from Texas-Pan American, receives honorable mention. Josh Schuler finished 5th and was the highest ranking 6th man from North Dakota.
